Bradford Urban Wildlife Photo Competition

Please support the BUWG photo competition by entering now!
There is £100 in prize money available.

Free entry. Maximum 3 entries per person.
Photos to be taken during 2026, and in the Bradford District.
Deadline for Entries: 20th November 2026

Although wildlife is the central theme, entrants will gain extra credit based on their interpretation of the whole title. Please include where and when the photo was taken, and to give as much information about how/why you captured the shot as you like! Photos illustrating animal behaviour will also be judged favourably.
Pictures taken on mobile phones are welcomed.

Prints can also be handed in at any BUWG meeting.

BUWG will have the right to publish images submitted in relation to the competition, with appropriate credit to the photographer - who will retain copyright.
Spaces at events are limited to non-members. If you are not a member, please book a place by emailing our secretary (buwg.secretary@gmail.com). All indoor talks meet for 7.30pm start at the Kirkgate Community Centre in Shipley (BD18 3EH), refreshments are provided at the interval. Indoor talk fees help cover room hire: £2.50 for members, £4 for non-members (children under 16 are free). It is important to note that BUWG takes no responsibility for children and all children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
