Local Nature Reserve Park Wood Walk
Location:
Meet at the reserve entrance on the junction of Kendal Street and Haynes Street, Keighley, BD21 4PX. Kendal street is an unadopted road with substantial numbers of large pot holes, advice is to use Haynes or Carlisle Street to reach the meeting point. Limited street parking available, what3words ///jets.guards.rise
Join us for an introduction to one of Bradford's newest Local Nature Reserves. We'll have a member of Friends of Park Wood with us to provide local knowledge of the flora and fauna of the area. Hopefully we'll see a few Park Wood's wide range of birds which includes Treecreepers, Jays, Great Spotted Woodpeckers and Nuthatches, as well as maybe a Roe Deer or two.
This walk will be over uneven ground with some uphill walking. Sturdy footwear is essential.
Open to all.
